When Jodi was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 1996, she decided to write this book in the hope that it might help children going through similar situations.

Since copies of the book were limited, we have decided to make the book available online in the hope that Jodi’s words can continue to help people who don’t have access to paper copies.

The images and text are presented here as they were in the original book, however we’ve updated the links and descriptions for the charities and organisations that offer support to children like Jodi and their families.

Sadly, Jodi’s brain tumour did return, and she passed away peacefully at home on 24th January 1998. I like to think she would be happy that her book can now be shared worldwide. Some of the family have added our thoughts and feelings about the years since we lost Jodi, and you can read these on the ‘20 Years Later‘ page.
